| Hi Roy. I am a regular player at Planetpoker.com and have recomended the site to many of my friends. The new software/graphics are great, the old one gave the site lots of negative PR. Lately a couple of things have made me concerned, first the use of affiliates, this might be great in that it brings in more players for you, but it also invites for a group of players/1 player on more machines to cheat to get that 20% of the rake that you are offering. Have played on other sites where they use affiliates, and when the % of players seeing the flop is about 60% and most players fold after the flop, one can begin to wonder. the other thing is the planetpokerpoints. the value has devaluated to a quarter of the value they had in the beginning. is this beacause you have to pay the affiliates? I used to chose planet if the games were the same as my other choices due to the planetpoints, but not I rather play other places if the games are the same cause the devaluation leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, saying sucker.... | ||

| Hi Geirel The PlanetPoker affiliate program is only for websites and NOT for individual players. Individual players are given a one time referal fee. PlanetPoker also has state of the art software to detect impropieties in the games. As far as the PlanetPoker points are concerned......there was too much demand and we increased the size of the tournaments to accomodate the excess demand. PlanetPoker is adding an additional $10,000.00 to the prize fund for the month of September to compensate for any dillution of point values...So, play in September the prize funds will be great!
