I know you're not officially up and running yet, but do you plan on having sub-forums of Poker (i.e., Stud, Hold'em, Tournaments, etc.)?

I like the forum software you're using -- I don't know if you guys developed it or licensed it from a third party, but it's much better than some other popular poker forum software I've seen and used.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks, Doctor K. We probably will NOT divide the poker forum unless we have hundreds of posts a day in this one. I'm against dividing our "family" any more than is absolutely necessary.

But I'd like to know what others think.

WL: -1 on subforums. +1 on software.

Love.

I think subforums just aren't needed yet--I think of poker as one game, and anything from seven stud can be helpful to draw, or...well you get the idea.

But I'm with Will: +1 on software.

Hi,
I hope that you do NOT sub divide the forum. While RGP has become largly unreadable due to so much wasted space and crap to wade through, at least the format is great. It is easy and reader friendly. I hate having to "decide ahead" which subgroup I wanna read. If all the topics are layed out in one spot, you can easily click on what you want and open it or pass it. Then, mark em all read and they don't get too cluttered. That way, with only one group of topics, you don't miss "that one special thread" that you didn' t know you were looking for 'til you saw it!
